Historic Deerfield is a unique museum filled with heritage and the history of Deerfield, Massachusetts, as well as the history of Connecticut River Valley. There are many historic houses, museums, and programs to see as you experience New England's history of villages and countryside.
Historic Deerfield is an outdoor museum that allows you to tour twelve antique houses from 1730 to 1850. As you go through these houses you can see collections of regional furniture, silver, textiles, decorative art, and more!
As you visit Historic Deerfield you will have the opportunity to learn more about the settlers journey and their plans as they settled here.

The Channing Blake Footpath is a beautiful one-third of a mile walk past a working farm and amazing meadows ending at the Deerfield River.
You can visit the Cooks Garden and see where the fresh ingredients come from as well as cooking demonstrations.
The Old Burying Ground is another great place to see. With many unique gravestones, you can get even more information about Deerfield's early settlers.
The Deerfield Inn and Chapney's Restaurant & Tavern are both operated by Historic Deerfield. Historic Deerfield is open daily from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Purchase your tickets online, at the Visitor Center, or at the Flynt Center of Early New England Life. Adult tickets are $18 and youth ages 6-17 are $5. Children under 6 and member and Deerfield/South Deerfield Residents are free!
